Service provider with regional roots for global translation and localisation services
Today, Wietzke Consulting sees itself as a service provider with regional roots for global translation and localisation services. Originally, however, the Osnabrück-based company was founded as a consultancy in 2002, as the name clearly suggests. In the early days, the founder and co-owner Andreas Wietzke was dedicated exclusively to offering consulting services to his customers and supporting companies in optimising and lowering the costs of their localisation processes.
These consulting activities frequently entailed authoring services and technical translation in particular, as many customers also desired the practical implementation of these services in addition to a definition of optimised processes. For this reason, in 2007, Wietzke Consulting consistently expanded its range of services to include technical translations and desktop publishing (DTP).
The company simultaneously invested in a high-performance, in-house IT department. Ever since, the thus gained technical expertise has ensured the highest performance in handling any kinds of data formats exceeding all standards. At the same time as the technical upgrade, the subjects “e-learning” and “webinars” began to play an increasingly important role in the range of services offered by the Osnabrück translation specialists and established the multilingual audio production as a new service module.
